A Walk Through Williamsport:
The Little League International Complex

The epitome of America’s pastime is showcased summer in the small town of Williamsport. PA when teams from across the globe convene to compete for the coveted Little League World Series. It is there where kids are kids, baseball is baseball, and true sportsmanship, teamwork, and competition are displayed during every game.

I’ve been a huge fan of the Little League World Series ever since I was kid. Now, as an adult, I’m still mesmerized by the joy, passion, and purity of the way the young athletes play the game. This past summer’s championship was as entertaining, amazing, and spectacular as any that I’ve seen. The series began with an amazing game saving over the wall and end with an extra inning walk-off homerun.

In a time when steroids, performance enhancing drugs, and cheating has tarnished professional baseball, the Little League World Series reminds us all just how the game that we love is supposed to be played.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Little League International Complex on a gorgeous fall day. Here are a few of the photos from a wonderful day to this magical place.

Enjoy!
